I design complex products for experts, where the stakes are high and the patterns don't exist yet. Most recently I set direction for the AI product suite at NetDocuments. Trust is the whole game.

Design Leadership

I lead through service, not authority. I built a design practice from scratch at ReadySet and led it through a pandemic pivot, then mentored senior designers across five product teams at NetDocuments.

Teaching & Mentorship

I've taught UX at UW–Madison and mentored 50+ designers, more than 10 into their first design role. I teach because I learn from it: every hard question sharpens what I believe about design.
